Workplace Giving

Many employers allow their employees to donate to the ALS Association of Texas through workplace giving programs. Besides being an easy and convenient way to give, a lot of workplace giving programs include matching donations from the employer—meaning your gift does twice as much to help Texans with ALS.

Major workplace giving programs include Community Health Charities (CHC), the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and the United Way.

Community Health Charities

The following companies allow payroll deduction donations to the ALS Association of Texas through Community Health Charities:

  • Accenture
  • ADP
  • Amazon
  • Aetna Inc.
  • American Airlines/American Eagle
  • American Express
  • Amerigroup Corporation
  • Ameriprise Financial
  • Ameristar Casinos
  • Amica Insurance
  • CIBA
  • CIT
  • CNA Financial Corporation
  • Compuware
  • Fannie Mae
  • Gannett
  • Gap, Inc.
  • GE Healthcare
  • Goldleaf
  • H&R Block
  • Hewlett-Packard Corporation
  • Hospira
  • InfoSoft
  • Jones Lang LaSalle

  • Sanofi-Aventis
  • Schering-Plough
  • Siemens Corporation

If you work for any of these companies, talk to your human resources department to learn how you can set up a donation the ALS Association of Texas.

Combined Federal Campaign

If you work for the federal government, you can also make donations to Community Health Charities through the Combined Federal Campaign. To donate, simply write “The ALS Association – Texas Chapter” on the workplace giving form.

United Way

If your company participates in the United Way Campaign, you can designate your gift to go to the ALS Association of Texas through the United Way Donor Choice Program. To do so, follow the instructions on your pledge card. If you have any questions or need additional information about how to give through the United Way, contact Sharon D’Souza.

Employer Matching Gift Programs

If your employer offers a matching gift program, your donation to the ALS Association of Texas could be doubled or even tripled. To find out if your company offers matching gifts, visit our matching gifts page, and type in your employer’s name.

Even if your employer is not listed here, it might still offer a matching gifts program. To find out, check with your human resources department. If your company does offer matching gifts, you’ll be given a form to fill out. After you complete the form, mail it to:
