Donate Now to Make a Real Impact

Fundraising Opportunities

Your ALS donation can make an even bigger impact if you donate with friends! Every year, our Walk to Defeat ALS® raises hundreds of thousands of dollars across the state of Texas to benefit people living with ALS. You can also start your own fundraiser on Facebook or using our fundraising tools. Whether you’re planning a lemonade stand, bake sale, or 5K, we make it easy to engage your community and make a big impact.

Corporate Giving

The generous support of corporations and foundations is essential to the work that we do every day. Not only does your financial support make a huge difference in the lives of Texans with ALS, but it also helps increase awareness of ALS and our mission within the community.

Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a great way to help your employees feel as if they are making a difference, and we welcome ALS donations through several programs, such as the CHC Private Sector Program, the Combined Federal Campaign, and United Way donations.

Matching Gifts

Many companies match employees’ charitable donations to ALS Texas, which multiplies the impact of your generous support. Ask your human resources department if your company has a matching gift program, and contact us for help.

Gifts In Tribute

Honor and celebrate the life of a friend or loved one with ALS by donating to the the ALS Association. We are happy to designate your contribution in honor or memory of a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion. If you wish, we can send a letter to family members to acknowledge your gift.

Gift Planning

Donating to fight ALS can be part of your legacy through gift planning. You can name the ALS Association of Texas in your estate or avoid double-taxation on retirement savings (specifically IRAs) by designating a charitable heir.

The ALS Association is recognized as exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is registered under statutory laws throughout the U.S. Donations to the ALS Association are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed under the Internal Revenue Code.
