Our Leadership

Executive Director, Tanner Hockensmith

Tanner started his career with the ALS Association as the Executive Director for the Iowa Chapter. There, he oversaw the expansion of programs and services, improved operations, and led the Chapter to double-digit donation growth. In August 2014, Tanner decided to move to Texas to be closer to his family, and he joined the Texas Chapter as our Executive Director.

In the nine years before he worked with the ALS Association, Tanner held various leadership positions, including one at a nonprofit that worked to revitalize Dallas’s Deep Ellum neighborhood.
